Austin Ukestra Performances
The Austin Ukestra performs regularly at concerts, community gatherings, and ukulele events in Austin. The ensemble is directed by ukulele educator Kevin Carroll and features musicians from across the Austin community.
Audience Experience
At a recent performance at the Austin Central Library, 35–40 people were seated and listening at any given moment. More than 150 others stopped in along the way. The response was overwhelmingly positive—92% of audience members reported being “very satisfied.” People commented on the range of music (from jazz and pop to classical), the unexpected depth of the ukulele, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. For many, it was their first time hearing live ukulele music—described as uplifting, peaceful, and something they wanted more of.
