Imagine the ultimate high school Jazz Band class with theory, carefully notated songs, history, scale studies, melody, harmony, accompaniment, chords, bass and more. This is THAT class for ukulele! Materials provided for Hi-G, Low-G and Baritone tunings along with Soundslice files, PDFs in TAB and Notation, MP3s and more!

Ukulele Jazz Band III will focus on Minor-keys in Jazz along with more blues, chord phrases, scales, improvising and classic jazz from Thelonious Monk.

Special Guest Teacher- Neal Chin, jazz ukuleleist and teacher extraordinaire, will join us for a couple of classes  with a solo arrangement and some approaches to improvising.

Classic Jazz tunes from multiple eras will be explored in-depth to grasp both the details and the over-arching ideas and feelings within these gems.
